Background
Solar energy is now the cheapest electricity in history according to the International Energy Agency’s World
In addition, demand for electric energy will grow strongly for the progressive transition to electric transportation, among other reasons. The European Commission has set a target to have 1 million charging points by 2025 and is aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport by 90% from 1990 levels by 2050.
Our Technology
In order to quickly achieve the goal of a net-zero emissions economy, several technology developments for the coming years are needed:
-Levelized Cost Of Storage (LCOS) reduction
-Electric Vehicles (EV) ultrafast charging infrastructure development, in order to compete with traditional fossil fuels refueling timing
At 3GG POWER we are in the final stage of development of a new technology (international patent pending) that will contribute to the reduction of LCOE by:
-increasing energy production per time unit with the same physical and financial resources
-reducing costs and resources (including less land usage) to produce the same amount of energy per time unit
The energy produced with lower LCOE by PV plants, will be dispatched through national grid and deployed for EV ultrafast charging stations.
